📢 Block Library Update: Universal Block for CMS Feeds (FD500)
The new FD500 block lets you create custom cards based on content from CMS Feeds. Choose which fields to display, customize their order and appearance, and design both cards and detailed post pages separately.
Create Cards from Feed Content
FD500 displays posts from a selected custom Feed as cards, with full control over which fields appear.
For example, for a portfolio, you can show a project image and title, a short description, and a button linking to the full project page.
Customize Field Layout
Set the order in which fields appear. For example, a news card could show the publication date, image, title, and short description. You can also group multiple fields so they appear on the same line.
Combine Dynamic and Static Content
Dynamic values are pulled from Feed posts and update automatically for each card, while static text remains the same.
For example, a real estate Feed might include a property size field. You can add static text like "Total area:" and "m²", while the size updates for each property. The card will display: "Total area: 45 m²".
Customize Your Cards
Choose a tile or list layout, adjust width, cards per row, spacing. You can also customize card styling, including background, border, radius, shadow, padding, and alignment.
Style Individual Fields
Apply a custom style to each field and adjust it independently.
For example, you can change the typography of a title, display a field as a tag, or place a label over an image.
Show a Gallery on Hover
If a Feed entry contains multiple images, they will automatically switch when you hover over the card. This lets users preview multiple images without opening the detailed page.
Customize Detailed Post Pages
Assign a page template to each Feed to control how individual posts are displayed. If no template is assigned, the content will open in an FD500 popup, which you can customize.
Choose which fields to display, set their order and styles, adjust the content width, and arrange the fields in one or two columns.
Control How Posts Are Displayed
Sort and group your posts to keep your content organized and easy to navigate. For large feeds, you can add a "Load more" button or enable automatic loading as users scroll.
