⏳ Why Your Website May Need a Preloader

If your website takes some time to fully load, consider adding a preloader to let visitors know everything is working, and they just need to wait.

Discover which websites should really use a preloader and how to create one on Tilda👇

What Is a Preloader?
A preloader is an animation that visualizes the loading progress of your website. It can be a simple progress bar or a more creative animation that gives a sneak peek of the site's content.

When to Use a Preloader
Preloaders are especially useful for large, multipage websites with heavy images and animations that load in parts. They make content appear more smoothly and let visitors know the site is working correctly, enhancing the user experience.

How to Add a Preloader on Tilda
To add a loading animation to your Tilda website, use the T228 block from the "Other" category and place it at the top of your page. In the block's settings, you can set the progress indicator's color, adjust paddings, and animate it to appear on scroll.

You can also create a preloader with complex animations from scratch using Zero Block and add it as custom code.
