Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs is a navigation element that shows the path from the Home Page to the active section of the website. The name refers to the Brothers Grimm' fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel" where the characters scattered breadcrumbs on the road to find their way back.

Why You Need Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs are often located on top of the page and help visitors track their paths on the website. By using breadcrumbs, a person can view several pages and go back to any section in one click. If a person came to the website bypassing its Home Page, they can quickly understand the structure by looking at breadcrumbs.

Where To Use

Breadcrumbs navigation works well for multipage websites with complex structures and content, such as online stores with lots of product categories.

How To Add

Add the "Breadcrumbs" block ME605 from the "Menu" category to the page. You can place it below the cover, for example.

In the Content tab, specify section titles and page URLs. You can copy and paste the block to inner pages adding one by one relevant links to every page.
