You can now let users log in with their phone number in the Members Area. They'll receive a one-time code via SMS instead of using a password.
To enable this login method, you'll need to connect an SMS gateway to your project. Currently, the Vonage service is integrated. You can choose to send codes worldwide or limit them to specific countries. The cost per message depends on Vonage's rates for each country.
By default, users can access the Members Area via email using either a password or a one-time code. To switch to phone number login, go to Members Area Settings → Advanced → Signup & Login Methods → Edit. If you'd like users to log in with both email and a one-time SMS code, be sure to enable the corresponding option.
