🙌 Three tips to improve your website navigation in minutes

1. Show the process of loading content and scrolling the page

The page loading animation will indicate to the user that the content is loading.

You'll find the indicator block T228 in the Other category. For the indicator to work, place the block at the very top of the page. You can set the color of the indicator in the block's Settings. It's best to use a color that will stand out against the content and won't blend with the color of the menu or the cover.

👉 The page scroll indicator tells you where the user is on the page and loads as the page is being scrolled down. Use it if the page is comprised of more than 3-4 screens.

To add a scroll indicator, use block T333 from the Other category. You can set the color and thickness of the indicator in the block's Settings.

2. Highlight the button with a more important function

✅ Of the two adjacent buttons, the more important button should stand out visually.

Usually the first button indicates the intended action on the page, such as “Sign up for the event” or "Buy this course". The second button is less significant, in most cases, it's a link to additional information such as "More", "About us" or "How it works".

The simplest thing is to use a bright background color. It should be in contrast to the lower value button. For the second button, using a colored border without filling or a neutral-colored background is enough.

2. Highlight the button with the more important action

In addition to the usual button style settings, Tilda allows you to adjust the style of a button on hover: you can set its color and saturation, the color and font of the text, add a shadow and adjust the speed of animation.

3. Add the Back to Top navigation button

⬆ The Back to Top button allows users to quickly navigate to the top of the page.

It's especially useful for easy navigation on pages containing long articles and a lot of content. Use it to avoid lengthy, tedious manual scrolling or using a scrollbar.

On Tilda, the block BF702 with the Back to Top button can be found in the Form and Button category.
