📁 Nesting Groups In Zero Block

In Zero Block, you can now nest one group of elements inside another, up to five levels deep.

When Is Nesting Useful?
Nesting is particularly useful for designing with Auto Layout (flex containers), creating cards, galleries, and more.

For example, if you have a card with several elements grouped with Auto Layout enabled, you can set individual spacing settings only for the title and description by grouping them separately.

Flexible Animation Setup
Nesting groups is also useful for applying different animation effects to several groups. For example, you can set an appearance animation for an entire card and a separate hover animation for a nested group with a single element.

Streamlined Responsive Layout Creation
Auto Layout and nesting let you quickly make your website responsive across various screen resolutions. Once settings are configured, elements automatically respond to content or size changes and align accordingly, saving you from manual adjustments.

How To Nest Groups
  • Via the Layers panel.
  • Using drag-and-drop (only with Auto Layout enabled).
  • With the Cmd/Ctrl+G keyboard shortcut.
  • Through the Settings panel.
  • From the context menu.

Note: Elements grouped as a Logical group cannot be nested inside an Object group. If you attempt to nest them, the Logical group will automatically convert to an Object one.
