We’ve put together a few scenarios of how you can use promo codes and the value you can derive from them.
— Help new website visitors decide to buy by offering them a special discount on their first purchase. Describe your offer and deliver a promo code to them in a pop-up window on your website, start an advertising campaign on social media or do a promotion with a popular blogger. — Offer site visitors a discount in return for signing up to your newsletter. They will pay less and you will add a new contact to your database so you can send them information about new products and special offers. — Ask users to leave a product or service review and offer them a discount on their next purchase in return. Positive reviews may attract new clients.
🛍️ If you are advertising a product across several channels and offering a discount, use different promo codes. This will help you track which channels are more effective judging by the number of activated discount codes.
🙌 How to create a promo code on Tilda? 1. Go to Site settings → Payment systems → Promo codes. 2. Click Add promo code and create a promo code containing no more than 12 symbols. It can be a random selection of letters and symbols but we recommend using easier codes such as summersale. 3. Set the size of the discount. This can be a percentage off an order or a set amount. 4. Go to the block with a Cart and, in the Content section, add the Promo code field. Done! In case you need a limited number of discount codes, say, for your first 50 customers, add them in the Quantity graph. If you want to set an expiration date, add the date when the discount code would no longer be valid.
